Parachute Risers and Lap Belt Assembly

The pilot's shoulders are attached to the parachute by the parachute risers. They are Interia Reel Straps installed at the seat. During ejection the interia reel straps are strafed to hold the pilot in the right position in his seat. During normal flight the staffing can be adjusted by the Control Assembly, which is located at the left side of the seat and has a black knob. A safety-belt fixes the pilot's waist to the seat. Another belt attaches the survival kit to the pilot.
