Audiovisual Tape Recorder

The Audiovisual Tape Recorder is used to take pictures or films by means of the boresight-camera. Depending on the selection, pictures are made automatically or when the Gun Trigger is activated. This panel is located on the left console.

AUTOEnable automatic recording. The AVTR starts recording whenever the 1st trigger detent or the pickle button are pressed. It then keeps recording for at least 30 seconds or until recording is stopped.
OFFSet AVTR to inactive
DISPLAY SELECTRotary switch
(4x45 deg)
AFTUnknown camera position, perhaps the rear pilot HUD in the -D model
LEFTRecords the left MFD
HUDRecords the HUD camera
RIGHTRecords the right MFD
