Test

Über das Test Panel können die Cockpitsysteme der F-16 überprüft werden. Je nach betätigtem Schalter am Test Panel werden die entsprechenden Warning- und Caution-Lights sowie Signaltöne und -hinweise zum Test aktiviert. Das Panel befindet sich auf der Left Console.

Element	Type	Position	Information
FIRE & OHEAT DETECT	Button	-	Checks continuity of both systems and illuminates the ENG FIRE warning light and the OVERHEAT caution light and provides a CSFDR special event data save if depressed in flight.
OXY OTY	2-Way switch	OXY OTY	Test the oxygen mechanism. Check, if the warning light and the master caution light goes on, if the oxygen goes under 1 litre.
OXY OTY	2-Way switch	OFF	Test off.
MAL & IND LTS	Button	-	Check all malfunction and indicator lights.
PROBE HEAT	3-Way switch	PROBE HEAT	Applies probe heat on the ground
		OFF	Applies probe heat only when airborne
		TEST	Performs a test of the probe heating system
EPU GEN	2-Way switch	EPU GEN	Allows the EPU to be tested on the ground without hydrazine
EPU GEN	2-Way switch	OFF	Deenergized position
FLCS PWR	4-Status light (green)	A=R 1	Illiminate to indicate proper power output of FLCC during FLCS power test.
		B=R 2	Illiminate to indicate proper power output of FLCC during FLCS power test.
		C=L 1	Illiminate to indicate proper power output of FLCC during FLCS power test.
		D=L 2	Illiminate to indicate proper power output of FLCC during FLCS power test.
Test switch	3-Way switch	TEST	When MAIN PWR switch is in MAIN PWR: Tests FLCC power output. When MAIN PWR switch is in BATT: Tests FLCC power output on aircraft battery.
		NORM	When MAIN PWR switch is in MAIN PWR: Normal position. Tests EPU PMG power availability during EPU/GEN test on ground. When MAIN PWR switch is in BATT: Not used.
		MAINT	For maintenance use on the ground. Inoperative in flight.
STICK CONTROL (only model D)	2-Way switch	AFT	The stick is control from the read seat
STICK CONTROL (only model D)	2-Way switch	FWD	The stick is control from the front seat
